Stealing or not, it doesn't minify my belief in the leadership of Google for its past service to the public, especially so that it has admitted to its wrong doing. This "stealing" issue, by the way, has to be seen in its whole context rather than on a piece-meal release of the facts involved. Just this one isolated incident about the Pinyin Input Method Editor dictionary cannot afford to completely blot out Google's credibility. It still has lots of credits in most people's pockets, I presume. Google is competent enough in its main task of delivering service to the public. Those credits may only be forfeited for failure, incompetence, abuse and self-serving behaviour which Google is not guilty of.
